wtf is going on? all we have been doing is selling before we buy for years! if manu fans heard their club had to sell before they bought they would be wondering what the hell's going on but we're Arsenal and this kinda shit happens every year! besides didn't we get 10m from sell ons of Diarra and Bentley? It's pretty obvious the board do not have genuine intentions at the club that they claim to have.
Oh and I've just found this which makes me feel sick

The board are keeping the money in the business and raising their share value. Then in 2 years time, once the properties have realised they'll say "they have taken the club as far as it can go, the face of football has changed and we need serious owner investment to compete therefore they reluctantly have to sell"
They will then get hundreds of millions for their hundreds of thousands original investment. I've no doubt this is their intention; the only thing is, why not sell one year ago to Silent Stan? Why continue to under invest in a team that had a great potential. Was getting the assets in from the properties so crucial for you extra millions that you had to take th team 10 years backwards??

At least Greedybayor and Flamini had 1 decent season before becoming 'frustrated' over negotiations. Theo's had about half a dozen decent games....

I cannot believe people are getting worked up over typical speculative sensationalist articles such as this, and SteveO continues his anti Walcott campaign.
It is well documented that major contracts are rarely sorted during the season because games come thick and fast and the bosses like to keep focus on playing matters.
Wat and see what happens this month, or at the end of the season.
Anyway, IF we do sell before we buy, I would sell Bendtner (we can do better than him, and get reasonable money for him), and Toure (if he wants out then he should be allowed to leave and we could get reasonable money for him) and Song ( we can use the money from him to help us buy a top defensive midfielder).
