Wenger decides not to buy Inler

Post by Arsenal Gu Bragh »

I know a few people on here wanted this guy at the club. Whats your thoughts now Wenger has said he doesn't want him?

Anyone getting the feeling we will buy Fabian Delph and that will be it?

Hope not. Delph is too young, too expensive, too much of a gamble. We don't need any more youth - we have plenty of promising young players. We need someone who is ready now.

Not bothered anymore. I've resigned myself to the fact that we are not going to be buying anyone of any note in this window. We might sign a couple of kids but that will be about it.
Seeing as the club itself doesn't appear to care that we are crap I'm beginning to wonder if I should

same here, cant be arsed with getting excited as soon as certain big players are linked with us.

The fact is we won't sign any big players and we will possibly get a 17 yo kid from somalia or smth worth £6.99 with AW telling us that he will be the new Paddy V in the next 10 years.

I have an awful feeling he is going to waste big money on Arshavin, who is injury prone, a moody loner, and wanted to sign for just about anybody he was linked with during euro 2008(inc the spuds). The reason Wenger will sign him is because Cesc has probably played his last game for the club, so he will replace him with this over rated lightweight who none of the big clubs in europe are interested in, and will sign for just about anybody in order to leave Zenit. The only thing that might save us would be the clueless Hughes putting in a bid.

Agree.... he seems to have something up his sleeve as he's been grinning whenever Arshavin's name gets mentioned. It till be a massive mistake.

As for Cesc leaving, do you think he's off this summer??

Dont think Cesc will play for us again unless by some miracle we get to the CL final. He will be playing in the Nou Camp next season and i dont think none of us can blame him looking at the state the club is at the moment

I believe that Wenger decided not to buy Inler int he summer, and Inler said he was staying in Switzerland for one more season too.
