Things (Arsenal related) to look forward to, in 2009

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Things (Arsenal related) to look forward to, in 2009

Post by Rob »

This could well be a short thread - contents wise - but I'll start :-

1/ We should see Eduardo again soon

2/ There's a trip to Rome coming up in March

3/ There's a trip to Cardiff coming up in January :?

after that I'm struggling...........

Positives only please................next.............................

I would cross off 2 + 3 from that list as both will end in disappointment.

Would that be a good thing?????

I'd prefer Summer take-over, Wenger given some money and told to spend it.

Maybe you should listen to Arsene and Hill Wood more Rob, with their version of Pathe news its a good news day every day.

Remember we are more secure financially than most of our rivals - now isn't that something to get the pulse racing for 2009 ! And we also don't need to sign anyone because we have endless "internal options" remember !

See its not so bad after all.

And if all else fails then you will have endless sarcasm from me to look forward to throughout 2009 !!!! :D

Return of Walcott and Cesc

More chances to see Vela, Ramsey and Wilshere

Continued emergence of Djourou

Summer transfer window

fielding an under 18 side for the 1st game of the 2009/2010 season as all the experienced players have left.

You're right. And what manager made that "innovation", Bertie Mee?

Seeing as Arsenal are acknowledging great managers (Chapman with White, Graham with 1989 style) what about having a Don Howe season and making a Green away kit??
