Did you notice?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Did you notice?

That it seemed more fans stayed til the final whistle (and after) last Saturday? It was so refreshing to see the vast majority staying, applauding and singing the lads off the pitch. Maybe it was the manner of the victory, or just that it was the first game. I hope not.

Keep it up lads!

Was a much better atmosphere throughout the match too. Just hope it wasn't a one off.

I really hope not. But it was a song that we were singing to the early leavers last season which made me chuckle!

rebel they leave for many reasons mate x factor could be one sad gits!
I saw a few leave when we was 1-0 down good the fair weather fans! missed a great end to the game.
I cant understand leaving early if we have a 12 o'clock k.o time???
maybe a late kick off time like 7.45 and some people who live miles away need to get the last train. But I live in Essex myself and its not that hard to get home at 10 o'clock! what makes it hard is the twat who thought about making it a queing system at Highbury and Islington, I now walk up to cannonbury road and get home faster than I would if I went to Highbury and Islington

A couple of people leaved early but those were the people more interested on their bets than actually watching the Arsenal vs. Man United game - they missed the two goals by the way...

There was an article in one of last years programmes about how many goals you would've missed by leaving 10mins early and i can't quite remember the exact figure but it was someting like 10/15 goals.

Why would people leave the Arsenal early when their notorius for leaving it late????Sometimes it's nice to stay on for a while and sit in a relatively empty stadium, like the calm after the storm.
