For the Golfers

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As someone else said the handicap i have is the clubs. Really got into it a few years ago but just could not improve my score however much i played or practiced in the driving range. Never been a member of a club just used to go round public courses, i got so pissed off in the end i hung my clubs up in my garage and havent touched them since but keep getting the urge to get back out maybe i will when the spring arrives

Strangest thing happened a few months ago - I was playing in a tourament and the ball was flying off here, there and everywhere when the crowd started making strange agressive noises - My playing partner Boo quite liked it though.

I would know if you fucking play golf!
Galasso - is your missus with us now??!! :?: :-P

Not a member of a club anymore. My membership was attached to Mrs Spudmashers gym membership. When she cancelled hers, mine went too. I'm not really bothered though as I haven't had chance to play since November. Usually play off 18 for competitions but was not playing well at all last year. Was nearer a 24. I blame the new clubs

Did you play Notley?
If you did then that would explain why you didn't enjoy it.
