Usual thread starter… Hmmm. Danny Fiszman, eh? Someone told me he’s waiting for the share price to reach £10k and then he’ll sell. Do you think he’s only in it for the money or that he’ll stick around? Let’s face it, he doesn’t actually need the cash, so I guess it’s down to how much of a fan he is. Who can say except the man himself?

Analysis of Arsenals financial position

Post by Rainham Red »

A really good article which gives much food for thought.I do not understand why the shareholders said they would not sell for a year which could mean they will be willing to sell after that time.My own feelings are that they will sell to Kroenke and David Dein,to whom Arsenal owe a lot, will come back as Chairman. Will it be a good thing only time will tell but I think DD is a real Arsenal man and will do what is good for the club. Also of course it will probably mean Arsene will stay.Don`t forget with the sale of the Highbury flats our debys will be considerably reduced. If the above all comes about our future could be very bright.

I'm thinking there is a legal reason or some such, that they are willing to shut out any approaches is good in my eyes. I'm happy with the board, ok could use a public relations improvement and work more with the fans but they are doing the best they can for the club, avoiding putting us into debt, oversaw a new stadium, got the manager on their side, we don't need to be bought by anyone.
