Thank You

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thank You

Post by Edinburgh_Gooner »

I'd just like to say a big thank you to all the Gooners at the Emirates Cup games. I came down for both days from Edinburgh to see Arsenal play at home for the first time. Everyone was really friendly especially in The Herbert Chapman pub.

I'm hopefully going to be joining the Arsenal Scotland Supporters Club so I'll hopefully get down to see Arsenal atleast once a season. I even managed to get my hands on a copy of the Gooner :D

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone for being so welcoming 8)

Glad you enjoyed your first trip to watch The Arse. I still remember my first ever visit to Highbury, it's always a special occaision. It took you coming all the way from Edinburgh to tell me about the existance of The Herbert Chapman pub, I've never heard of it. Is it a new place? Hope you can get back soon mate.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your first visit the see the gunners.
I will never moan about trecking up to games from Portsmouth again, Your Edinburgh trips trump mine completely.

Ive been in The Herbert Chapman once, if i remember correctly, the prices of drink were the reason i never returned! Can anyone confim this?

Im normally in either the Auld Triangle or the Rocket before and after games.

Be sure to sign up with Arsenal Scotland, ive had a few contact moments with them (seeing as i am with arsenal hampshire). They seem like good blokes (as they would be, being gooners and all!!!!).

Look forward to seeing you at the Grove soon......

Regards

Craig

Herbert Chapman is £3 a pint.
I have really mixed feelings about that pub. I don't like it, but at the same time I love it. Strange place
