Tiny Totts Semi-final

Post by goonermc »

All season i've been hearing red members banging on about the lack of tickets, well the last few thousand have been on sale to red members since thursday morning at 9:30, and apparently there's still lots left. So for those complaining about there being too many of us season ticket holders and not enough match to match tickets will see the club have got it spot on, if they are struggling to sell out a semi-final against the tiny totts. I very much doubt the club would put this match on general sale and risk having spuds and Gooners mixing(would they??) so that will leave rows of empty seats and plenty of stick for us. Plus it is only CAT B fixture which is still expensive i know but, not as bad as it could've been if the spuds had got there way.

Spurs put tickets on general sale for their home leg BUT only to people registered as buying tickets for previous matches.

Red members who complain about not being able to get tickets just dont bother trying.
I'm a red member and have got tickets for every games this season except spuds, scousers and manure league games.
Every other match has tickets on sale to red members for days before they sell out.

a lot of season ticket holders would not have gone through the hassle of buying their tickets by phone or online because they are not organised or in some cases simply don't do computers or even credit cards. i reckon maybe half the 40,000 odd season ticket holders won't be going, so many many more tickets avaialble than normal.

however, i can also imagine a couple of hundred season ticket holders will just turn up expecting to get in unaware they had to buy their ticket for this game. big problem with this is that carling cup always went on general sale before, but we haven't played spurs in recent times. you could buy on the night at highbury.

no way will the game sell out, although the club should at least offer to sell tickets to red members on the night at the box office. that might get a few hunderd more along.

SOLD OUT................... the sad thing is when we get our allocation for Cardiff, the season ticket holders who couldn't be arsed to go the semi-final will automatically jump ahead of the red members who do go. I know all of us can't go but if this is the case then it's wrong!!.

NO the sad thing is the people who couldnt be bothered to go to the WBA, Everton and Liverpool spuds away games ( like I did) will jump ahead of people who made the effort to go to go to all of these week night away games i think a special effort to make sure people who have attended these games are guranteed a ticket! now all of a sudden it becomes a much bigger cup competition because we are in the semi's against the spuds people have started taking a interest!

sorry im not ranting its the way I see it! and i'm not saying im more of a gooner than anyone else because that is pathetic
but all I'm saying is I WANNNAAA TICKET for the final

Completely agree. People who pay the money and travel the distances to those games should get priority over everyone. And I'm not saying it for my benefit because I only went to both spurs games. I just think it's only right that those who've gone to every round go to the final, not the people who latch onto it once it gets glamorous
