EVERTON THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm not too confident either, just can't see us keeping a clean sheet or creating enough decent chances.

Welcome Scouseblues, always good to have opposition fans come on and give the other side of the coin.

Consensus seems to be split about tonight, depends which Arsenal turns up. Worried about Cahill and Screech to be honest!

How about you? Defensively you guys look sound and are still scoring despite only playing with 1 striker.

NBM's right - concerned by Everton's energy and set-pieces.

yep thats what benitez or the fat spanish waiter as we call him couldn't get his head around on monday and that was without screech and arteta

i think it will be a good game i remember last season at goodison we were the better team if im honest but mistakes cost us the game

we have let in 2 goals in 8 games i think it is with an all english back four too boot so defensively after a shakey start to the season we have been solid

cahill will be your main threat tonight however arteta is still a doubt 50/50 bruised ribs

I keep forgetting about Arteta, lets hope he decided to rest him and regain fitness for the replay!

Indeed, with things being as tight as they are and Everton hitting a bit of form then you can't discount them.

Although I'd take it with a pinch of salt, he also described Eboue as a "passmaster"!

Wow, Rafa, that's really backfired a bit hasn't it!

Sadly not up there tonight, haven't got the funds to do that and West Ham home on Saturday. Surely I'm due a lottery win soon!
