EVERTON THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Consensus seems to be split about tonight, depends which Arsenal turns up. Worried about Cahill and Screech to be honest!

How about you? Defensively you guys look sound and are still scoring despite only playing with 1 striker.
yep thats what benitez or the fat spanish waiter as we call him couldn't get his head around on monday and that was without screech and arteta

i think it will be a good game i remember last season at goodison we were the better team if im honest but mistakes cost us the game

we have let in 2 goals in 8 games i think it is with an all english back four too boot so defensively after a shakey start to the season we have been solid

cahill will be your main threat tonight however arteta is still a doubt 50/50 bruised ribs
Hi scouseblues, I think you're confusing him with our goalie.

And last season, that was pretty much down to Eduardo I remember - just the sort of threat we havent got these days.

Fearful about tonight and think a draw is the best we can hope for :( I too am worried about set pieces but I cant understand why anybody would suggest recalling gallas for that reason as he was the cause of all our early season goals conceded from set pieces
Wouldnt mind seeing ugly and cahill on the receiving end of a few bone shakers 8) Hate those *word censored* but for different reasons.

Yeah but Everton dont have any real forwards on the pitch so their lack of scoring is excusable. Ours is not.
