Hitler served in World War I.Anyone know why he had the little moustache? Surely they werent even fashionable in the 1930's!!!!
During his time in the trenches, the Germans wore masks to protect from gas attacks etc. Because the mask fit closely to the mouth, it was easier to be clean shaven. Hitler left part of his moustache on during this time, and afterwards, kept it that way because he liked the look.
Just what I heard...can't remember where I heard it from, but it makes as much sense as anything else.
