Deadline day Arshavin saga

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It sounds like Zenit have f*cked us over.

Zenit, not Arshavin.

Yet again it seems as they moved the goalposts when the deal looked like it was about to get done.

However, there are rumours that another Premiership club have put in a bid for Miguel Veloso. Would we?

If we don't sign anyone the blame lies FIRMLY at Wenger's door. Not the board, not the CEO, Wenger.

They are happy to take a grand off me for the season ticket and what, the money doesn't get spent. It is a joke when the squad is crying out for 4/5 nedw signings.

God knows whats happening!

As usual I fully expect to receive little news if any at all from the club as to why this pantomime has been allowed to carry on.

The club couldnt sign a new tea lady never mind a player for fuck sake. Incompetent at everything. Still look on the bright side, last transfer window Wenger brought in Sylvestre and Bischoff so by signing noone this time at least it won't be as bad as that.

To be honest, that's when I'll start getting angry over this.

I just want the club to be honest... I don't want the to patronise us with crap about the potential of our current players, and how injured players will be like new signings

2008 was a DISASTER, and 2009 has hardly started well either! :banghead:

Still, my optimistic (gullible) part of me keeps looking at the clock and wondering whether 5hrs 30mins is enough time to pull something out of the bag

Its time for gooners to vent their fury at the way the club is being run.We have to protest and let them know this is not on anymore. We cant allow them to keep getting away with this crap and treating us like c#nts!

This summer i spent over £500 ponds on replica kits for myself and my 3 kids. Red, Yellow, White, Blue, I have Arsenal TV, I pay good money for tickets…Well no more.

Until the club start to spend some of the money i give them towards new players and improving the team I will no long spend a fooking penny on Arsenal merchandise any more.

For 30 years now i have used my spare cash to buy all the latest gear. DVD, Bath Towels you fooking name it! I would say that over the years i have spent maybe £20,000 on merchandise and tickets. And for what? We sell our best players and are told we have no money to spend.

Join me in this stand! DONT BUY ANY MORE ARSENAL MERCHANDISE!! IE KITS ETC…WEAR BLACK AT ARSENAL GAMES!!!

F##K YOU ARSENAL!!

I will support Arsenal in my heart but not with my pocket.

Until Arsenal start to spend the money, My money is staying at home.

Fook them. I cant take this shit no more.

Bunch of tight kunts

How can you do that? Wenger wants to sing this mug!! Its the board that are not putting the money up!

Great start by Mr Gazidis, watch Theo and RVP walk very soon....
Of course it Wenger's fault, was he really so stupid or naieve to target a player we don't have the money to buy, and to put all his eggs in the one basket, we are a fucking laughing stock, and he is the reason, not only the transfer nonsense but his constant excuses and claims that we can still win the title, he is a senile deluded old codger. And I wish he would just fuck off!
