Well Wayno I've yet to meet you but your name cropped up when I was chattin to Gus a couple of weeks back, and he actually went out of his way to say, while acknowledging that you're pretty controversial on here, that you couldn't meet a nicer bloke - so don't be too hard on yourself, you realised your mistake you've apologised and that's the end of it, time to draw a line............... until the next time
oh no

I forgive you Hugh - oops, sorry - Wayno!
No biggy - we all cross the line at some stage; the post, posts or entire thread gets taken down. Good man for apologising.
I think there was a bit of overkill in the backlash because cancer is such an emotive subject. I know. My dad died from cancer in front of me last Feb. But, you know, we can't all get offended by everything all the time either. I still find Hicks and Leary's cancer related stand up routines hilarious, but that just me I suppose.
Wayno's post was in bad taste, some people were offended, it's gone, let's move on.
I too have met Wayno for a beer before a game and he's a great lad, really nice bloke.

My fellow mud wellers, I aint going nowhere, I am learning all the time. I have now found several subjects that should not be posted in graphical form and a few that should not be written about. To avoid others falling foul of the unwritten but fair rules I will list those lines which I have crossed. This is not a rogues list of honours but purely done to help others avoid such situatiions.
Death threats against females wearing cowboys hats is unacceptable
Avatars which depict sexual acts are unacceptable
Posts which include heavily breasted, yet quite slim nubile youndfemales getting rogered from behind by well hung and handsome labradors are unacceptable.
Polls pertaining to the longevity of minor celebrities sufferring from terminal illness is unacceptable.
Avoid these toics and you should stand in good stead. I am sure I will find more along the ay and as I do, I will pass these on to you. Consider it a public service

Don't think you were alone in the first of those cases Wayno. Think most people made threats in that thread. Even I did...I think.
