new song

Post by dbrien »

to the tune of 'I can see clearly now the rain has gone'

I can see Robin now Thierry's gone
I can see loads of goals when he plays
gone are the waving arms and moody face
the future is red, white, and trophies in May

or

I can see Robin now (or dudu) Thierry's gone
I can see loads of goals when he plays
Its just like when Patrick went and Cesc came in.
The future is red and white with trophies in May.

DBrien,

Great lyrics 8) but a very difficult song for a crowd to sing because of the key it's in. It's much too high for a lot of people to sing comfortably. :(

  • I can see dbrien's getting on
He can't hear clearly now without a little aid
Gone are the party nights and dancing girls
It's gonna be slippers, horlicks and bollocks down south.

They certainly are...although not the best for getting into nightclubs!
