REDaction Update - Flags out!
REDaction mail
Hi all
Didn't all those Brazil and Italy flags look lovely on Tuesday? We have Cardiff on Monday night - and there are sure to be plenty of Welsh flags in the stadium. Meanwhile, we have had a "flag ban" on national flags for the last 2 years.
So, time to fight back. You have all weekend to dig around in the loft for flags - including national flags. The best way to beat the "flag ban" is to ignore it. It isn't against stadium rules to bring a flag into the ground (much as the club liked to pretend otherwise), so get those flags out on Monday! It isn't just REDaction supporting this, all of the main Arsenal forums have been supporting the idea this week, and the latest Gooner editorial here - http://www.onlinegooner.com/editorial/index.php?id=151 - agrees as well. Lets reclaim our stadium!
Talking of flags, we have a giant flag in the making, which should (although plenty could go wrong between now and then!) be with us for the Roma game. Watch this space.
Finally for now, for the Sunderland game, we are going to try to get back to REDaction's original aims - atmosphere inside the ground. Therefore, The March will be leaving The Rocket with the aim of getting to the ground for 2pm. We are working on trying to get a deal on drinks at the bar near Block 7 - no promises on that yet - but we'll update you on the plan next week.
That's all for now - lets see those flags on Monday.

Tried to reply earlier, but it went skewy. There were about 30-40 people in that "march" tops, it's hardly intimidating, or suddenly going to lift the atmosphere in the ground (wow.... 20 people have left the youth club, prepare for the roof to be raised

And I have a very good clue, as I drank in the Rocket a few times last season. Then I lose patience with waiting 20 mins for a pint.
Doesn't really feel right using this video as an example, but this is a fucking march mate. 3 mins in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LG5fCtba-UM
