Poker League

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Poker League

Post by Gunner4LiF3 »

Hi all,

I was thinking that we could start a weekly league poker tournament,

We can speak to some of the major poker rooms, I've heard they usually offer 5 private freeroll tournaments $100 each, so that would be $500 in total.

Who would be up for playing abit of online poker?

the good things anout the online tournaments are:

1. Free for everyone
2. Our Irish friends can play

If we would do a real tournament, we will have to find/rent a local pub, entry to the tournament would cost at least 7-10 quid. Depending how many players there will be we would have to buy extra poker chips. (I think i have 300?)

I personally think online poker would be better since this is onlinegooner

Maybe top prize could also be a free subscription of The Gooner? Along with some cash obviously

If we do it online, are we going to do it foor online gooner only or should we advertise the event on other forums?

Maybe Rebel could send a message to all facebook members informing them what they have to do to sign up.
