yeah but then thats the same for sentances over here, if theres any shred of doubt there shouldn't be a conviction, in this day and age the forensics team should be able to find the accused 100% guilty, its not like back in the day when framing a person was as easy as handing them the gun or destroying the evidence was simply wiping the weapon down with a clothYankee_Gooner_Dandee wrote:could be worse. you could be put to death by hanging here and you may be innocent

and with the amount of cctv floating about a crime (say for example a man getting shot in the head several times) is bound to be recorded by something...unless someone loses the footage or accedently forgets to press record(on a 24/7recording system) *cough*
bare in mind that if a cctv camera is knocked out of place LUL can refuse to open the station if they were not informed about it and fine the shit out of whatever company is responsable

the police and government are the only things capable of covering crimes up now days but thats another story on another thread on another forum.

Now I know there are member of the forum who work within or study the justice system/law, and my question is to them? (not in a narky way, just wanna know your opinion)
Is there a Common Sense Unit?
Because thats what seems to be lacking in both the justice system, goverment, their opposition, and in general the way most(not all) public services and goverment are run.

just read about the trucker that killed 6 people...got 3 whole years of which he will serve 18 full months!
thats a real hand on heart proud to be english moment right there
reminds me of a few months ago when someone got 2 years for ending someones life (not sure how but its still taking a life) 2 weeks after an old woman (in her 50's) got 7 FUCKING YEARS for importing a few kilos of cocain.
does that answer your question about common sense bren?
