You summed it up in your description really, it was a complete joke wasnt much better after the game, I left on the final whistle and went to stand on the corner waiting for a few lads the police pushed me back and before i knew it there was a heavy police presence and i was with all the scum. It calmed down and i asked if i could go past as I was Arsenal and and my mates were just coming out the ground "he said no as i wasnt wearing colours and i could be spurs, showed him my arsenal card and he said (not quietly might i add) I dont care if your arsenal you will have to go round the back streets!! Cheers mate!!! if i wasnt in trouble i will be now! managed to get up to seven sisters though, The lads were stuck in the ground for a long time after then escorted up to tottenham hale.....all round shocking performance from the old bill!! Everyone knows what happens when you leave the pins but to miss 20 minutes of the game due to pure police stupidity (searching people as we were trying to get out the tube station what was that all about!)

The fella's write up was spot on, and exactly as it happened.
The OB were a disgrace on the way to the swamp (why did they pick The Pins - it is not a pub that has any hooligan element, apart from some lairy youths). There was racism directed by a Copper to an Arsenal Lad, I heard that first hand, the restraint the guy showed was first class. There were comments made to the Arsenal Fans - one of which was the old classic 'Who cares you just Scum Football Fans' - very 80's cliche.
If it wasn't for the surge coming out of Seven Sisters Station (I was at the front) then we would have missed another 5-10 minutes of the match at best. Like the lad above mentioned the piss-break was funny, it reminded me of those water breaks in The London Marathon.
Me and my mate's only crime that day was drinking in The Pins, as we have done for every other NLD.
The way home was another Police disgrace, but everyone was too f*cked to raise a complaint.
The thing is the Police will consider the whole event a result - but on another day it could well have gone Tits-up.
As they rammed us on to Tubes at Tottenham Hale the police threatend to arrest some lads in our Tube Carraige for 'Bouncing' - bizarre.
As it was we got back to The Pins late, we were allowed to stay in whilst they closed the Pub down on Police advice due to disorder during the match earlier - Irony.
As a footnote We were marched from the pub at Cardiff to the ground, perfectly, no issue.

The authors account is completely accurate and i was there too - the whole thing was a shambles... i notice there hasnt even been an apology by the met police for the way they treated those fans who were delayed by 20 MINUTES due to their complete fucking incompetence! Do the club even know about it?
