ARSENAL A BLOODY JOKE!! FOR F*CK SAKE!!!!!!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Then of course near the end of the season once the club began to realise how good he was they made some offers but he had already had an agreement with Valencia. I saw him being interviewed a few months ago he still loves the club to this day.
Sounds pretty close to what happened with Flamini!!

We did offer Flamini a contract with plenty of time whereas by the sounds of it, we didn't offer Edu one till too late. Thanks for the correction Bergkamp-Genius

You say "plenty of time" but Flamini admitted he probably would have signed a new contract the summer before he left, but Arsenal didn't offer him one and allowed him to enter the last year of his contract.

So, effectively they asked him to play for a new contract, so he did. He played well and Arsenal eventually offered him a new deal... unfortunately for Arsenal, Milan offered a better one!

It was always a risk allowing Flamini to enter the last year of his contract, as it was with Edu... both ended in tears.

That's the similarity.

The richest club list is on turnover, until we sell the Highbury flats & repay loans on ashburton grove we are in the brown stuff.

Exactly, it doesn't take into account out debt.

If it did, then we'd be lower down the list than "illustrious" clubs such as Accrington Stanley! (who are they??? exactly!! :? )

Ah yes, sorry for some reason thought we had offered him a low wage contract that summer
