and the fact he lost the ball EVERY time he got it, no point beating people if you lose it at the last hurdleIrish Gooner wrote:Eboue was brilliant bar the blatant miss.
Denilson was good enough and done his job and so did Song.
Enjoy it you spoilt c**ts.
by his standards, good game but by a decent teams standard he was average at best
agree with denelson, had to leave for work just as song came on but saw the first thing he did was run around in a circle after the ball

RVP had a bit of a stinker baring the pen, what in the hell was that shit he had that was about 4 miles west of the goal all about

Sell RVP and keep Eboue? You pissed again Quartz? Sell one of the few world class players in the squad and keep one of the worse, MADNESS!!!!!QuartzGooner wrote:Sell Bendtner, Van Persie, Adebayor, and Song.
Replace with two decent defensive midfielders and a new tall striker.
Keep Eboue as backup to Sagna.
I love what Eboue has to do to be classed as having a "brilliant" game!
After some of the football I've been treated to over the past few years, I would hardly call Eboue's performance "brilliant".
This forum can be annoying sometimes. Yeah, people go over the top with their doom-mongering, but people also go over the top with their praise, too.

It was the law of averages that Eboue had to have one game which he wasnt shit.We have had to wait 2 years for it.He was not brilliant though

That stupid Dane, it must have been a coincidence we lost control of the game when he came off. Must have been my eyes lying to me when he flicked Clichy clear for the Nasri header after a poor pass from Van Persie, his one two with same Dutchman and decent low cross or that pass for the penalty that sent Van Persie behind his marker.
The miss was horrible by any standard yet it shouldn't overshadow an otherwise very good performance, he, Nasri and Van Persie caused Roma no end of trouble. Without him, we would not have a goal lead, we may well not have dominated the game either.

Re: NICOLAS FU*KING BENDTNER
He is worse than eboue who is a right back and showed some element of skill to fashion his chance, ok he missed it, but had a decent game other than that. Bendtner's 2 chances were put on a plate, his awful first touch denied him the chance to waste 2 more chances and he had a fucking stinker of a game all round, add to this the fact that he thinks he is fucking brilliant, and that makes him the most detestable player at the club.REBEL GOONER wrote:please fuck off and find yourself another club, and its not just about the Roma game, its about every game, he is just not as good as he thinks he is and will never be more then championship standard

Never a more true word was spoken than that by Ade, when he came on in the defeat at shite lane, when he said to nic "i'm only coming cos you are shit"

Again another load of garbage about Bendtner and Eboue, the thing that tells me not to take the first lot of posts seriously or not care a word of what you say is the fact that you were on here posting while the game was going on, thats good isnt it! Sitting on your poxy little computer in your poxy little bedroom instead of watching it, how do you know Bendtner wasnt doing well? did you hear the commentator say he lost it? or did you just read the sun newspaper that morning!

And what's with this "the miss", singular, everyone (not just you, Magic) is going on about? He received three sweet balls to feet inside their box and his drunk rapist-like first touch fucked up all of them.

As my old footy coach once said of an oppo keeper;
"He is shite. Proper, old-style shite..."

I recall two times where his touch might be deemed to let him down. The Nasri cross one where he probably should have smacked it goalwards rather then try to control that cannon ball. Then there was one on slight left of the area when his failure to get it under control (which he should have done) allowed defender to get in and clear

Add that to the ball deflected right into NB's path from RVP's shot that NB cannoned over the bar and you have three good chances that a half decent striker would have put away at least one or two of, probably even all three...Magic Hat wrote:I recall two times where his touch might be deemed to let him down. Nasri's pass was quality. It was cannoned to make sure it got there across a crowded box. Controlling that kind of ball is simple tbh. You just pull your foot back to absord the pace off the ball and "take it in" to you. RVP, THBW14, DB10, Eduardo and a million other strikers would have taken that ball in easily. Bendtner's first touch is simply appalling.
