FULHAM THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

to be honest after AW's rant following the sunderland game, he's basically given everyone advance notice on how to get at least a point against us at home.

If fulham get 3 points it puts them very close to the 5th place battle and it would be worth wile coming out for the win, but thats unlikely.

They'll have the mindset of go out, don't concede and maybe you can nick one.

with our current form the likely hood of us scoring is tiny so it really does look like a nil nill draw.

Arsenal will have 87 shots on goal, 24 one on one's, 16 open goals and the final score will be 0-0 or they'll nick it one nil with their only attempt.

Fulham are shit away - i think 1 away win all season - will defo have to be 3pts because i can't see Villa dropping points at home to Stoke

A Win - keeps us 6 pts behind
a Draw keeps us just clinging on
a defeat and this board will go mental :-P

They may be shit to you but their defensive record is the 5th best in the league, shit is debatable, it could be another frustrating afternoon.

Not expecting man goals, infact going braced for another 0-0.

[quote="Captain Fabregas"]4-0
Arshavin x2
Van Persie
Eboue [

have u seen eboue in front of goal??? the *word censored* has has the feet of an elephant, and unless the ball rebounds of his backside, following somebody elses shot, he,ll never score. shouldnt even be on the pitch, with the opportunity 2 do so either.

Notice the wink? this implies that it is abit of a joke and a mixture of hopefulness because you never know...

The away match against Fulham earlier this season was gutting.

We lost 1-0, but were pretty awful throughout. The team was:

Manuel Almunia
Bacary Sagna
William Gallas
Kolo Toure (77 - Alex Song)
Gael Clichy
Theo Walcott (65 - Nicklas Bendtner)
Denilson
Emmanuel Eboue
Samir Nasri
Emmanuel Adebayor
Robin Van Persie

(Unused Subs: Lukasz Fabianski, Kieran Gibbs, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Johan Djourou)

Now, I'd say the team we put out on Saturday will be slightly better on paper. But Fulham's team has also improved slightly.

I reckon we'll win 2-0. RVP will score.
