I think that's a load of tosh, they know how crap he is so they wouldn't even consider buying him let alone for that amount.

If this is true, then Baptista must have some strange power that only works on managers of football teams (and Benitez). Just as the Stealth Bomber is invisible to enemy radar, Baptista is able to render his complete inability to play football invisible to managers.

dont forget how many goals he put past liverpool last season ... maybe that could be the motivation for benitez wanting him ...

probably just rumour
