usual thread starter… So how many did you get then regulars? There is a theory that Arsene will actually buy late if progress to the group stage of the CL and the guaranteed millions it brings are guaranteed. Think there is a general belief that we need a couple of players amongst the fans. Or do you think we can get by with the current squad?

I think it would be amazing if we were waiting for the CL money before commiting ourselves again in the transfer market. If Arsene really wanted to buy again, surely he would have done it before the season started and the money would have been there.

I honestly can't see him buying anyone now and if he did, it'l probably be some 15 year old from argentina who no-one has heard of but is being tipped to be the next maradona even though he couldn't play for us for the next 5 years as he won't be eligible for a visa, so we'll end up loaning him out..... oh well, the boss is always right!!

I think we're in desperate need for a proper winger, someone to run at players and score us some goals. Every team has 1 if not 2....
Man u - Ronaldo, giggs ect
Chelski - SWP, Malouda etc
Liverpool - Pennant, babel etc

We're the only team that don't have one apart from maybe Walcott but to be honest I would much rather see him given a chance up front and Hleb and Rosicky are playmakers who are used to playing in the middle. I think this is the area of the filed where we are really struggling. Who agrees?!?!!?

Yep I agree Spartan Arsene won`t buy anyone this transfer window but maybe January if things aren`t going well.I also would like to see Hleb as playmaker just behind the striker as he is far better there than out on the wing.Rosicky looked like he was coming into form against Man.City but I wouldn`t mind seeing him as playmaker behind the striker if Hleb wasn`t doing the business.
