Firstly, this is boring, and a pointless insult considering this is an Arsenal site:

Secondly:
Put some energy into creating the twelfth man rather than crying over spending. It hasn't done Man City any favours so far!
It's not about spending, it's about strengthening a squad. It can be done for free/on the cheap - how much did Wenger spend on Vieira, Petit, Anelka in his first squad? Wenger has spent money, but the point is, he never strengthens when we're at the top. This has resulted in a "boom and bust" cycle every few seasons. United bought Van der Sar and Vidic for less than we spent on Nasri - that's not saying Nasri is a poor player or poor value.

They love glory hunting pricks who don't give a fuck that their chairman is a baby boiling Russian Mafia Gangster.

It seems Arsene is a victim of his own success, he's got you used to watching pure football in the best club ground in the country.

We have had 5 of our top 6 goalscorers out for most if not all of this season. No other squad in Europe could score goals to it's full potential with those sort of injuries.

You are one sad and stupid individual if you really think our fans are glory hunters and jcls. Sad fact is wenger doesnt see the lack of quality in the team and that players like song and bedtner will never be good enough to play for Arsenal. Add to that his complete and utter failure to sign a dm and instead go for yet another wideman where we already have a shit load of them :o

I could argue points with you all day but clearly you are a man who just likes to see things at face value and not look any deeper so I would be wasting my time so maybe you should fcuk off until you can come back here and treat some of your fellow Gooners with more respect

If Wenger does somehow get this bunch of underachievers into 4 th place does anyone really think he will change his ways?.Will he get rid of the crap?.Its alright saying give him one more season to see out his contract but i can see things getting even worse next season. We need to keep our top players and buy at least 5 quality players and that aint going to happen while stubborn Wenger carries on his crazy project.

I'll say it again...not a great post - completely and wrong to tell supporters trying to debate the future to fuck off.

But I do agree with one point, we have begun to believe that success is our right because of how things have transformed under Wenger.

Now things are tough, people seem to want to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Actually, yes. I think he will change things. He's seen his plan misfire this season, and he must know that a top four finish is the result of Villa, Liverpool or Chelsea being poor. He's been majorly frustrated, openly disappointed with players (despite what he says in interviews - watch him on the touchline) and he knows this side is short of quality.

It looks like he tried to buy players last summer and it didn't come off - admittedly, that was his fault for waiting for a last minute bargain - it doesn't always work.

I've never seen Wenger as angry as he has been this season, surely angry at himself.

Oh contraire, he will believe it is down to his "genius" and not the poorness of others.

So what did he do in the january transfer window?he bought another attacking midfield when everyone knows we need a DM.

It kills me to see that muppet Song playing in the same position as Flamini did last season. If Wenger is really disappointed and frustrated why cant he see Eboue Song and Bendtner are shit and dont play them.

If thats true why didnt he do something about it in January? I was obvious by then even though most of us saw it last summer

Good point, I can only guess it was because noone was available (whereas in the summer, Alonso and Barry were both realistic targets). I don't think he's the sort of manager to go "I couldn't get Barry, Veloso is the next best, so I'll get him".

I agree.
This season isn't over yet, I think we can finish much better and maybe win a trophy. I don't understant why people panic. Because of some bad results we should become a new Tottenham: spend a lot of money, have a new manager every years ... it doesnt bring success. In football the best thing to be succesfull is stability and to not give up when times are tough IMO.

I believe the problem was we needed creativity badly if we were to finish the season in the top four, our goals were drying up so in a short term measure, Arsene got in an experienced, expensive player to provide that. We know that Arsene bid for just about every dm, I doubt that will change and hopefully with Ivan

As for Nic, could you show me another 21 year old with ten goals this season despite being a 4th choice striker?

In terms of goals, he is not too bad (can't believe I have said that). However, if you saw him fucking with the chances he had, he is useless most of the time. Don't you think so?!! :banghead:
