There is no doubt that getting 3pts could be huge in our late bid for 4th spot but how many times have we said that lately only to fuck up in the game itself ? Does anybody really believe that villa will make any more slip ups like last sunday ? Martin o'neill's main asset has also been motivation and getting his team to play better than the sum of his parts and I believe that he will have been in their heads every minute of every day since last sunday ensuring that they dont screw up again. However our bid for 4th place is dependent on 2 things - 1 is villa slipping up and of course the 2nd part is us actually doing our job and winning our games and sadly of late that seems beyond us

I actually think Villa are overated and have had a fair slice of luck, that may well change.

Although it is a totally different question as to Arsenal actually taking advantage of any slip up by Villa.

If they absolute clown Song is starting then we are doomed.

If we don't win tonight, it's time to accept we won't finish in top 4, and anybody who thinks otherwise is as deluded as scousers who still think they can win the league.
We were gone at 4-45pm on Sunday but have been given one last shot in the last chance saloon, if we fuck it up we simply don't deserve to be in next seasons clge. And all those at the club who are responsible should be made to pay.

Yes, I do. Maybe not as dramatic as last Sunday, but they'll drop points... definately - the rather dubious question is whether we can capitalise!

In the last 2 league games they've lost against Chelsea and drew with Stoke. They now have Citeh (a), Sp*rs (h), ManUre (a), Liverpool (h).

Not easy fixtures, and it's quite possible that they could struggle to pick up many points in those games.

We have West Brom (a), Blackburn (h), Newcastle (a) and Citeh (h) coming up.... all winnable games (I know... we could lose, too)

I know it's still a huge ask to expect us to suddenly start winning games as we can't buy a win at the moment, but it's certianly possible that we can close the gap and overtake Villa in the next few weeks.

We have tricky games at the end of the season, so I feel that it's now or never. The next month is our chance... so all we can do is support them and hope :?

We could also draw them games also, which is virtually like a defeat, what with the draws we have had of late. In fact over the last 5 games (all drawn) if we had lost 3 and won 2 of them we would have more than the miserly 5 points than we have actually gained!!!!

True, it's been a poor run but there's no point dwelling on it... it's how we respond.

And we can respond. We do have the quality to beat West Brom, Blackburn, Newcastle, etc. - whether we do or not, is another matter :?

So once again we have a very winnable run of 4 games ....whereas Villa have Man City (A), Spuds (H), Liverpool (A), Man Utd (A), Everton (H). With a little luck they should struggle to get 6 points from that so we could be level with them and a game in hand by the time we go to Anfield in April...!! So PLEASE lets start with a win tonight (and nothing to do with me not wanting to have that long journey home that a certain Irish Gooner has promised!) :barscarf: !

i dont even know if ill bother watching the game tonight if the last four are anything to go by, i predict great passing and movement from gunners with little to no end product, again! 1-0....Bendtner to score...i know, but he does at leat have a knack of getting winners, even if he is next to useless...
