As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
i went to the game yesterday, best i have seen bendnter play in an arsenal shirt, although it was a championship team. arshavin deserved a goal and looked lively throughout, diaby looked fresh 2nd half, our full backs still cant cross the ball. being there i didnt think we were that loud throughout the game, thought it was more in patches we were loud, but then listening to it on football first you can hear every chant we sing, including the eduardo song which was good to hear
The atmosphere was great and we were singing from start to finish - lots of "Yellow Ribbon" and even "B'Jesus Said Paddy!" The team visibly reacted to and were encouraged by the support we were giving them - something for the silent lot and the booers at the Grove to think about.
I did see the Police wade in and take away a couple of young Gooners from the upper tier towards the back - does anyone know what that was about?
By the way this is my 100th post - I know some of you lot can do more than that in a day, but a major achievement for me!

baggies fans were better than the average home support aswell especially when they took the piss out of our accents when we were signing 'sit daan shut up'

the lad had beer in the stands, some muggy woman grassed him up, im mates with a mate of the lad, and was definatly one of the better away games ive been to! you name a song, it was sung! eyes right skin back tigh bollox to the front was even sung, and a few did b jesus said paddy too
Solid away day.
Good turn out as usual by the away section and in good voice, and fair play to Nic for popping in a couple and silencing the "hate club" sat behind me. Good on ya son. Just remember boys he is probably earning a tenth of what Ade is but still gives it a go unlike our jumped up forward who cant be bothered to put a shift in.
The away support could clearly be Heard supporting Wenger and Bentdner something our home support is shit at they know one song the majority of them anyway and thats BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
maybe its SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT but for the last 15 it is most defiantly BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I can see me have a row with one of them soon!
I dont mind if you sing and shout encoragement and you get fustrated towards the end but no making any effort then getting up and booooooing is just crap
So you're saying that if you sing and shout encouragement and the players/team still perform shit, you're entitled to boo them at the end, but not otherwise, yes?
