As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I'm one of those who shouts myself hoarse during games and yes I'm VERY emotional and hate watching a shite performance. And, no, I won't stand and applaud a bunch of players who DO have a job but don't do it. The dross spreads round the pitch like smog until no player seems to want to make that extra sprint, or look for a killing pass... When the team simply 'goes through the motions' I DO GET BLOODY ANGRY. When 'worldclass' stikers miss sitters I rage. Our players are professionals and they do have talent and lately they play as if they are already thinking of the end of the season - a season of horrible failure and not just no silverwae but, more importantly, our quality of play. When Mr Wenger begins a sentence with 'I believe...' I know he's going to talk rubbish to avoid admitting the obvious. For true fans of Arsenal Football Club the level of play is atrocious. Everyone in Arsenal must look at themselves . The backroom staff - including the Manager - ought to get together and come up with tactics which do not mean crisscrossing the ball in midfield so that the opposition can get back and mark tightly. How I hate those long balls up to a lone stiker who has no one to nod it down to even if they get to the ball! How I hate fast runs by wingers who then make awful crosses. It's not rocket science to see that the current plans don't work. Everyone knows how to play us. Everyone knows that our old success of fast passing from back to front has vanished. I've no problem with fans booing lazy dull performances but I blame the backroom lot even more. Clearly there's a lot going wrong in the dressing room and it has to be sorted. The Emirates as a venue is becoming a joke with mediocre football and no success. Toss out those who don't have Arsenal in their hearts and promote players who love the Club.
