If you could choose the result between Villa and Spuds

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If you could choose the result between Aston Villa and Tottenham tomorrow what would it be?

Spuds ain't going to get relegated! I can't believe any gooner would want anything other than Villa to drop points tomorrow - and hopefully all 3..... :barscarf: :barscarf: !

I know it would benefit us, but I can't bring myself to want Spurs to win.

Villa, regardless of whether they win tomorrow, are in poor form and have some really tough games coming up. We finally look to have cracked how to score (take Bendtner off) and have injured players returning. Might be premature (wouldn't be the first time) but I'm not really too worried about Villa anymore.

Draw please.

Spurs win.

To not get into Champions League would cost us a lot of money and probably see big name players leave.

How can any of you want those fucking y**s to pick up points?

Villa are going to drop points elsewhere this season... Why be so desperate to want those twats from Sevensisters win? Shocking!

If we're good enough, we'll get 4th. WITHOUT THOSE DIRTY y**s HELP!

Thank Christ for some common sense.; I thought I'd walked into the official forum for 1 minute.

The final game of the 1999 season when they were at Old Trafford was the only time I've ever wanted those mugs to win a game. Apart from Sunday Villa can lose every game for all I care.
Another good post, how can anyone want those scum to win

???

Common sense??? :?

Of course we want a Sp*rs win... our season isn't over yet, and we NEED Villa to drop more points than us.

4th place means a HELL of a lot more to me than Sp*rs finishing 15th instead of 12th - I really couldn't give a damn which irrelevant league position they end up in! :?

Anyway, who cares if Sp*rs get another 3 points?! their season is OVER. Win, lose or draw... it'll make no difference to that shower.

My priority is - and always has been - ARSENAL![/quote]

Mine too g88ner, but villa will drop points in their future games. They have some hard matches. I do not want scum to win

So in 1999 last game of the season you didnt want the Spuds to win ?You were happy the Manc"s won the title because they beat the Spuds. That makes no sense at all

A Spuds win helps us.Its as simple as that

Villa to lose. Love of Arsenal before hatred of the Scum any day! And there’s about as much chance of them going down as there is of Spuddy’s wife anyway - according to his own stories!

I’m still wary of Villa getting a second wind at some point soon, & once they get the Mancs & Scousers out the way their run in is easier than ours seeing as we’ve still got those 2 plus the Chavs to come, as well as the CL & FA Cup to tire/distract us. I still think we need to open up a good 4 or 5 point gap in the next couple of weeks before we can even think about discounting Villa.

I don't know ds, there's only 9 games left and we still have Liverpool, Chelsea and ManUre to play, so yes Villa will drop more points... but so will we.

There will be some twists and turns yet, and this could go right to the wire, and with that in mind... I definately want Villa to lose tomorrow.

Another reason to want Villa to lose tomorrow (if we really need one) is that the sooner we can secure 4th spot, the sooner we can start concentrating on winning a cup competition this season!

Tough games.... A lot of people are saying this (including me....fuck!!!) - but isn't this just unfortunate timing on their part. We still have to go to Old Trafford and Anfield.... And still have Chelsea at home - and neither Man City or Newcastle will be pushovers. And we still have the FA Cup and Champions League distractions! I'm much more optimistic than I was but its a little early to start thinking that we're safe.....

I want the Tiny Totts to win.

Anything that is of benefit to Arsenal should be encoraged and that little shower up the road are so insignificant cheering them on for our gain once in a while isn't a problem.

Radford finds it difficult to cheer (or whatever) those *word censored* on. Raford wants a nil nil.
