Dudu injured again
Poor guy. Looks like he's shaping up to be another Rosicky.

AW says its short term. Unfortunate but not unusual for a player who has been out for as long as Eddie to pick up niggly injuries while his body is readjusting to top level competition.
Rosicky will probably go through a similar phase once he is back. Lets hope it doesn't become the norm for either of them, we need both for the last quarter of the season.

To be expected initially. But will we still be saying the same thing about him in May? Or next September?
I really think our physio/medical/coaching team needs to be looked at. I've never seen a club with so many "niggling" injuries that keep players out for months and that keep re-appearing so regularly. And you can't blame it on the "new" smaller framed player Wenger seems to be only interested in; it's across the board.
Sure the game is alot faster nowadays but there is no where near the hard physical contact level of the old days.
Something is wrong with our training or preperation regimes.

TR7's problem is not injury he has a well known habbit.

Where did you get that from Radford? Its not well known in my house.
Unless you've actually seen him misbehaving yourself, its not very charitable passing on a rumour/tittle tattle on here. If you don't think journo's read/take part in blogs you're being naive.
I remember when we were looking at buying Michael Carrick from W. Ham for £2 million the 'word' was he was a drunk; we didn't sign him (Cesc had a blinder in the Charity Shield and AW pulled the plug on the deal), Spurs did sign him and made £15 million on the deal about 18 months later.
I know he's been out an inordinate amount of time, and its human nature to think that there must be other reasons than just a hamstring/knee problem, but to allude to a 'habit' without backing it up is a bit naughty mate.

If that was the truth...the nwhy would arsenal keep him on the pay roll so long & cover up for him?rtpgooner wrote:I heard the rumour a while back, and never thought anything of it, until my dad watched the game in club level for the burnely game, seemed to be the talk within the boxes at club level, that he was on the sniff. I dont think we will ever find out the truth anyway.

Yes he probably is, of laughter if he's reading this thread.
My understanding is that sportsmen and women in this country (including footballers) are subject to drug testing in and out of competition at the drop of a hat (Rio Ferdinand anyone?).
To put your livelyhood and professional reputation at risk for smack isn't very intelligent - Rosicky has always struck me as an intelligent man, the way he plays his football screams intellegence.
I'm more inclined to put this 'news' down to a similar line of mischief which had the tabloids soiling themselves over AW's apparent prediliction for little boys a fast five minutes after his arrival at the club.

The rumour, o2ba, has been doing the rounds for a long time now - the rumour was that 4 players failed a test last season (tr and as at geordies being 2 mentioned) but as you rightly said there is no evidence whatsoever to back up these stories. My understanding is that when a player fails a private club test then the players club is under no obligation to make it public. I think rosicky's rep for loving a good time (the call girls story in particular

The same rumour is being said of Nicky Shorey at Villa, it makes sense I guess to get them cleaned up and out of risk of being tested but I really doubt it's true as the media would find out and have a field day.
If we've heard it then you can bet they would have too, it hasn't come out which must tell you its bullshit.
