HULL FA CUP THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arshavin did.
He had some good moments but was anonymous for big chunks of the game. Might not be his fault though.

However if we grind it out like tonight and in rome we might win the 2 cups . Big george would be proud.

BTW I was at the game and didn't think Riley was as bad as usual. Did I miss something other than us getting an offside goal and moaning cos he addded on 5 mins after we had spent the entire game complaining of time wasting?

Would anybody dispute that we were on the right side of the decisions tonight?

A few thoughts:

Walcott started slowly but after about 15 mins provided energy and crosses, though the old "No one in the box" problem meant they were not made use of.

Arshavin is wasted out wide, needs to be in middle.

Nasri is improving and has an ability to influence pattern of a game that is good to see.

Gibbs looks to be a player that will challenge Clichy for first team spot next season.

Diaby and Song was not a partnership, too little communication between them.

Vela and RvP - same as above.

RvP was tat - again. Apart from the goal. Really poor. Vella is too lightweight to lead the attack at the moment.

Arshavin is really good though. So was Theo - but Wenger never plays him for 90 minutes. Why ?????

He is just coming back from an injury, might not be able to last 90 mins at full pace yet?
