A solid performance and worthy of the three points. Diaby looked good when he came on, Kolo was awesome and Senderos was a baffoon, at least he is consistent.

Had some concerns, this was one of Senderos games where he looks more like Titus Bramble then a new Tony Adams, Clichy struggled a little when we were down to ten men and Almunia made some fine saves but could have done better once or twice for me. Great performance overall, we dominated till the red card and defended very well while always looking for the counter, very impressive.

The Senderos sending off was a joke I mean if he sent off Phil for that why wasnt David James given a red as it was more a goal scoring situation. The ref was a joke alongside the Lino in the 2nd half who couldnt keep up with the "pace" of Kanu several times he missed blantant offsides

I thought Gilberto, Toure, Amunia and Flamini where amazing today!!

my only concerns is how short we are in defence mind you we have a weeks break to the scum match

The ref has to downgrade that red to a yellow there was no way Senderos was last man back well not where I was sitting!
Just to let you all know I can comment on issues like this as I am a level 7 referee

does that mean you have +5 red card attack, +2 resistance to crowd persuasion but -2 weakness against press scrutiny attacks?

Twice Clichy got beaten down the flank, even being left on his rear on one occasion, he was superb in first half going forward but he isn't having the best of starts in his defensive game.

Senderos was last man, it was a blatant foul and Kanu was 1-1 on one with Almunia, he had to go. James should have gone as well but the ref was awful,Portsmouth should have had a penalty when Senderos fouled Henderson or whatever their left back is called, Gilberto fouled one of their players in a great position with a tackle from behind but no freekick and we promptly countered as well as the things the ref got wrong against us.

it means I have the lowest level of referee but I'm still better than all premiership referees (well not on paper)

i was encouraged by todays performance, Almunia looked solid, Fabregas was excellent, we were down to ten men early on in the second half and hardly looked phased, all in all job well done i think.

Well to use a couple of well known football phrases - "at the end of the day" we played half of the match with 10 men and if it hadn't been for an uncharacteristic error from big Jens against dirty Blackburn, we'd be top with a 100% record, a game in hand over Chelsea and ManUre and "I'm over the moon" :P
