I'm pretty sure he was signed right at the start of the season but was injured, I agree I think it's a disgrace if he did prefer to train with Portugal.
Trying to see it from his side though (not regarding yesterday) but if he was fed a lot of bull, got his hopes up of being a first teamer then spent his time with the kids then you would also feel like saying "fuck this" and look at your options.

Agreed, but that isn't how Wenger normally works. One of his best man management qualities is being open with the players.
Even so, Bischoff needs his head read for blowing off an opportunity to play some meaningful football. I hope he enjoys getting his arse handed to him by Benfica and Porto next season.
I went to a Portugese league game (Farense v Sporting) when I was on holiday in the algarve - strange experience; there were no refreshment facilities in Farense's ground so we all went over the road to have a beer at half time!

He should be grateful for the opportunity, like most of you have said.
If he is getting frustrated he should be getting his head down and working harder (you don't hear the likes of Ramsey moaning because he knows he's time will come) and i'm sure bishoffs would of if he had been patient enough.
On a funnier note that picture sky posted of him is absolutely awful, he looks fucked.

I heard that honestly, he has growing pains.augie wrote:
On a much more important issue I was told by another fan in the ground last night that ramsey was left out of the squad because he was being restedDoes anybody know if there is any truth to that ??
Which is not unknown for teenagers.
Bischoff - I would not be quick to jump on this guy at all.
It is one quote, in a foreign newspaper.
Take that with a pinch of salt.
If Bischoff feels his future is elsewhere, then good luck to him.
He looks a decent prospect, but it is not as if he was exactly pushing for a starting place last night, or any other night.
If he realistically feels his level is more suited to the weaker Portuguegese League, then he is thinking ahead.
It is not as if he cost us much cash.

I can understand the preference to training with Portugal main squad rather then possibly getting 5 minutes against Hull, I somehow doubt he was promised a start so why not boost international prospects? Sure, since he can't get near the first team and his contract is running out, looks for places to go but don't sell yourself out in the press Bischoff, just keep quiet about it.
