I can't see any announcement other than one that states the ground regulations and that any person found standing or singing will be removed from the stadium and will have their name passed onto Arsenal.Number 5 wrote:Yeah I can see a similar announcement on Arsenal.com anytime now.
I would direct this at the club rather than Red Action as I doubt they have the pay grade needed to affect a story on the official boards.

But I do believe that Red action should do something as this is our biggest game for a few years and will they themselfs want to sit in a section with people who want to sit and eat nachos

Mate the Chelsea message is on their offical website. Red Action are never going to be able to replicate that. They would at best reach out to what 50 people on here who qualify for tickets? They would need to post on every blog, forum, site arsenal related to have the same affect. Every Arsenal fan eligible for a ticket will likely visit arsenal.com to see the ticket news. Unless the club allow red action a free page on the site I doubt they can do much to follow Chelsea.n7gooner wrote:I can't see any announcement other than one that states the ground regulations and that any person found standing or singing will be removed from the stadium and will have their name passed onto Arsenal.Number 5 wrote:Yeah I can see a similar announcement on Arsenal.com anytime now.

Thats true but are Red action not linked with the club? if they told the club of what chelski were doing and then proposed a similar thing then the club would probably do something or am I being too optimistic. Its just that I don't want to be sitting with people who want to eat nachos and read the programme during the game.
This could happen because the club are allowing people who have never been to an away game in their lifetime get a ticket over silver and red members who go up and down the country. I am lucky enough to get a ticket as I have more than 3 away credits and I just don't want to sit around people who refuse to support the team during the match.

Yeah it's a tough one I agree. As a fellow who supported the team through all home games 93-95 and many away games in the same period, it's hard to feel I have no chance of a ticket. I worked for Ladbrokes at Arsenal for 3 years. But as my life changed so did my priorities, 2 kids and a wife down the line, it's not possible for me to go to all the games I once did. I don't support the team any less, hell my eldest told his mum I love Arsenal more than him cos I wouldn't take him to the floodlight pitch on Tuesday. I know, I'm hardcore.n7gooner wrote:Thats true but are Red action not linked with the club? if they told the club of what chelski were doing and then proposed a similar thing then the club would probably do something or am I being too optimistic. Red Action are only linked to the club as much as the club want them to be. Not the other way around. Otherwise the red action section wouldn't get told to sit down. And yes you are waaaaayyyyy too optimistic if you think Arsenal are going to officially tell their supporters where to buy tickets. I agree the need for an atmos but I'm not sure about that.
In my own Wembley experience I never had Nacho's but at an NFL game you are allowed to bring your beer back to your seat. So much so that I had a tray of four beers and had them all to myself without missing any of the action. Think about that when your 15 deep in a queue and the second half is 2 minutes away.

That is good - they also have more about at SB:

AFC & RedACTION should take note. Surely AFC could do that for the Emirates - certain sections a note comes up when you buy - 'PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SINGING SECTION - FANS IN THESE AREAS ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAKE A LOT OF NOISE - PLEASE ONLY BUY TICKETS IN THIS SECTION IF YOU WISH TO ADD TO THE ATMOSPHERE'

We have spoken to the club on this subject and if you have not already then anyone interested in making some noise etc should try and get their tickets in the lower tier.
The Club had meetings with the FA and Wembley yesterday and I hope to get some feedback on these later today. REDaction have already asked if we can organise something for the semi-final.
If we want to do something meaningful then we have to get the FA and wembleys permission, AFC want something to happen but of course will not support anything if the powers that be do not support it.
If we do not get permission / backing then we will try and get something off the ground from our own resources. If that is the case then we need everyone to spread the word as much as possible, because as someone has already alluded to we can only contact so many people through this message board and the others and our own mailout.
Lets get behind whatever happens and show the Chavs who really are the 'Pride of London'.
As soon as I have more information then I will post it, the wheels are turning

The difference is of course Fabby that the whole of the North End at Ashburton is nearly all season ticket holders. Chavski sell far more tickets on a match to match basis.Fabby is a Foot (Leg-end) wrote:That is good - they also have more about at SB:

Thanks - please can I have a season ticket or silver membership and I will be in the lower tier. The problem is 2 fold (a) even in the lower tier away from block 5,6,7 and block 19 the atmosphere is pretty poor anyway and (b) there is a large group of fans who are red members (many who travel to away games) and want to make a lot of noise. Chances of a red getting lower tier tickets? 0. The noise does not travel around the stadium well if you have lower and upper singing blocks say 6,10,19,30 in the lower and 102, 110, 122 and 130. You would improve it. Not sure if you have but try going in the upper tier and get a song going - more often than not you are asked to be quiet rather than joined in.alanalansunderland wrote:We have spoken to the club on this subject and if you have not already then anyone interested in making some noise etc should try and get their tickets in the lower tier.

I know mate and I do sympathise, you cannot imagine how difficult it was to even get the club to give us the 500 seats in the Bear Pit and advertise them as an area for people who wanted to get behind the team. All we can do is keep fighting for the right to support our team in the way we see fit. Don't give up it is a case ofFabby is a Foot (Leg-end) wrote:Thanks - please can I have a season ticket or silver membership and I will be in the lower tier. mate
i think this is a huge problem with regards to home atmosphere
The north stand as you said is mainly season tickets, then the red action corner so nothing can be done there.
Im sure you've probably enquired but is there a way to get some sort of campaign going for an area in the south stand, for vocal fans like chelsea have done.
Im sure AFC will have 101 reasons why they dont want this, but at the end of the day if chelsea can succesfully do it I dont see why it cant be managed by Arsenal.
Im in block 19 more or less every match, I can see red action having fun and singing but I can rarely hear them. Theres alot of people who make an effort scattered round the ground as well, but we need one section where they can come together in the lower tier and make noise

Not so sure judging by the atmosphere at Chavs games that its particularly working there, but I do take your point and we have raised this issue continually in fans forums and at our recent meeting with Mr Gazidis. To be honest due to the number of season tkt holders in the lower tier generally I can't see a sensible solution but all we can do is keep asking and maybe we can get some joy.afchackney wrote:mate
