Prague tickets

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wow 24 years!

I'm surprised you're as good as you are!

That's wonderful, keep trying anyway, eventually you'll be as good as Mr. Reyes!

I think I have "done" enough of Europe to count.

What do you want to know?

Rough idea of criteria to be able to apply for tickets, ie away credits required, or any thing else that might be an issue please mate.
Just after a rough idea so I'll know if there's a chance of me getting a ticket myself or going down other routes.

cheers

It will be along the lines of away ticket scheme members first, then like regular away games, will be in steps according to credits (probably start at 10/15?)

It's hard to say whether there's any chance of selling out before we know our allocation. Their ground capacity is apparently roughly the same as Sparta so maybe 1000 tickets?

If you don't have enough credits, then the best way to go is find anyone you know who might have enough and try to find a way to use their details. Or put a message up here and try sort something out that way.

I think Prague is generally a popular venue but it's difficult to know with reference to our ticket allocation. See what the club announce and then wel'll know more.

I have some useful Prague sites for basic info, but I don't organise my intennet very well so if I can find them I will pass them on.

Galasso;

Do you know where there ground is? Do they play at the national stadium?

Rilo;
Also the group stages aren't as popular as the knock-out for travelling fans. BUT speaking to quite a few fans and posts on here since the draw Prague seems to be the one lots of people say they want to go to. Whether they do or not I don't know.

Anyway I suggest you wait before booking travel arrangements unless you have large credits. Flight options are doing flight/accomodation for £165 which is about £30 more than I'm paying. They will have charted flights (probably) www.sportops.com

Their ground is to the western side of Prague (so Starometska Sq, then over the river and a tram ride) . I'm not sure of the standard of the ground and whether they might want to switch to Sparta's stadium if this was possible. I know their capacity is around 20000, but whether this includes terracing??

And good shout re sportops. Rilo - If you haven't already booked something and want someone to take some hassle away, then these guys usually do good trips. Well respected.

Thanks for the info guys. I've already booked flights and hotel so will go whatever happens. Just have to keep my fingers crossed for when the details are announced. If it comes to it I'll just buy off a tout or something, unless my 8 credits are enough.

I'm going to try to convince everyone that November in Prague will be the coldest place in the world, and they should stay in sunny England

You migh be right, but Prague has some great bars and is rather fine even in the winter!

You should go anyway - see what the ticket situation is, see if anyone you know/or on here can help re credits or just go out there and i'm sure you can pick one up.

Should be fun whatever!

I will be there, a mate and I have our flights booked, working on the accomodation, will probably rent an apartment, just need to sort out the tickets. I have been approached by a new forum member who has indicated that he may be able to assist with tickets, I just hope he can as I would really like to have tickets before travelling, just for peace of mind.
