Completely disagree with Dominic's argument over tickets. The Club have allowed the people who committed to the Club from the start of the season first refusal. ST Holders & Away Scheme Members signed up for every game at the start of the season & these people should be put first.
Im sure the Silver & Red Members would love a day out at Wembley, but why should the people who have attended every home or away game have to give up their ticket for someone who can pick & chosse what games they go to?
Well said. You cant tell me the fans that go to ever away game....
those that pay stupidly high ticket prices ridiculous travel costs Give up countless day holiday deserve to be lower down the pecking order for tickets for Cup Semi Finals and Finals then red members and silver members!
Of course season ticket holders and away scheme members should have priority..... but would it really have hurt the club to allocate, say, 500 or 1000 tickets to silvers and reds? Really?
The club struggle to properly allocate tickets as it is … imagine the confusion if they did this, they would have to some sort of credit system with members attending the most games getting the right to apply.
Well, they've employed a fairly effective system for the big four games at the emirates this season, setting aside a certain number of tickets for reds and then selling them on a first-come-first-served basis. Couldn't they have done the same here?
Phil Brown - the bad loser - and tickets for all of us please?

I don't think you can blaim the club over the tickets. We have only been given 32,000 tickets and we have something like 150,000 members in total. Away scheme members should be given priority absolutly. Season ticket holders who have been to a few aways should get priority (however I reckon it should be more than 3 in the last 2 years!!). However I feel the club go slightly wrong when they next don't put travel club members with say 20 credits on the same level as normal season ticket holders. But, who am I to argue? Whatever the club do they can't please everybody. I am only a silver so doubt I will get to go, obviously I would love to, and with 25 away credits I have given a lot to the club but I am sure they have thought long and hard about the procedure, I have just got to hope that it doesnt sell out before I get a chance to apply.

It doesnt exist in that you can no longer join it - but the original members all still had to join it this season!
With regards to the away scheme argument - they deserve it more than the home season ticket holders IMO and also there are only what, 1200 members on the away scheme? Hardly eating up a lot of the allocated tickets is it?
The fairest way would be to merge home and away games into one credit system for home games and then work out who gets a ticket like the away games are currently.
The vast majority of Away Scheme members are season ticket holders. It is a big commitment going to every single home and away game every season, so why should we not be prioritised. In my estimation there would be less than 100 people that are not season ticket holders and of those they will be red and silver members and going their fair share of home games anyway.
i agree strongly with the article. im a red member and i was expecting at least some tickets to be made available to us. ive been to every home league match this season, bar 2 (liverpool and spurs), i think some1 that has spent £32 to £65 to go to all these matches deserves a chance to go to wembley, even if its in the worst seats possible
Im a season ticket holder since 1974 and go to some not all away matches so I got my too and would be offended if the club gave priority to people who come only now and then !
Cant please all the people all the time but for once i think the club got it right !
im not so sure about away ticket memebers as i know many on that list that simply return all the tickets save the big ones to the club
You have away scheme guys paying a fortune for tickets and travel, not to mention time off work and ST holders who fork out over £1000 in a lump sum, who totally deserve to get a ticket before red members. It's unfortunate but that's the way it should be.
The real crime is that the clubs don't get 40,000+ tickets each for Wembley, they give tickets out to every county FA in the country. A guy I used to work with was the treasurer of a Kent League club and that club always got 4 FA cup final tickets regardless of who was in it, and it's the same for every other county FA. That is criminal.
