ARSENAL KIT

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Also the 70/71 away shirt was ALL yellow. The blue collar and cuffs were added for the FAC.

Favourite shirt 70s home/away, 97/98 home
Surely you're too young to remember that Reg

83 -86 away "Argentina" kit could be up for a revival. I have to say I liked that one because it was something fresh for us at the time.

BRING BACK THE GREEN/NAVY '82 KIT ASAP 8)

Also, unlike most, I still wear and love the white shirt

JVC sponsorship started before 1982. I can remember the basic 70's kit with Umbro diamond and JVC in 1981-82 and maybe even 80-81. And they used to have to wear a version with a smaller JVC logo when we were going to be on Match of the Day. (not often because we weren't the most entertaining team in those days)

Its not hard is it:
Shirt
Red
White Sleeves
Red cuffs
White collar
Shorts - White
socks - Red with a white hoop

Why do we keep getting it wrong? - like this season.

I rather like the 1895 kit...seen here modelled by Ceasar Llewellyn Jenkyns. One hopes the headgear was optional on match days!

I've always liked the 79 home shirt (the first one I had) and the 71 away shirt.

The Home 82/83 was easily the classiest home shirt.
The red collar and just the white sleeves made it look very cool.

thi seasons away isn't even our real yellow though, or maybe i'm just being too extra? but i reckon i kits should look like they did in our unbeaten season, with just minimal changes to freshen it up. fuck it, im not buying them anymore anyway.

92-94 away kit was a generic Adidas design which loads of people wore.

Can't beat the 1990-93 home shirt and the 1970s away shirt. IMO.
