G-D's children

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Those T Shirts are not official military clothing, they are something one company has been printing up for some of the troops in an non-official capacity.

They are in bad taste and I cannot condone them at all, but you would be way off the mark if you think they are widely worn or somehow echo widely held feelings.

Most Israeli troops just do their national service and then go home.

They don't want to do it but they have to do it or else risk being invaded.

There is masses of crude anti Israeli and anti Jewish propaganda in the Arab world which unlike these T Shirts, is government sponsored and mass produced.

If it is offensive clothing you want then try these Palestinian children's clothes for size:

As for so called War Crimes investigations, I have yet to see an allegation that made me bat an eyelid.

Fog of War mistakes happen, but there is nothing to show that there was intentional killing of civilians by the Israelis.

Not a shred of evidence, or motivation.

No I would not be wide of the mark, that's exactly how majority of Israelis sees Palestinians, as subhumans...

Of course there is, but how can you seriously claim that Israeli goverment is innocent of simila behaviour? Nethanahu cannot wait to start killing again...

Yeah, but where is your proof that this is official goverment sponsored clothing?

Not surprised there, you wouldn't see it with a telescope, but it's not whether you see it, its about whether relevant organisations can see it and I am sur they will. Crime is a crime is a crime...

There wasn't any to start with in the case of Tom Hurndall's murder but truth did eventually come out

There was not a shred of evidence that Tom Hurndall was deliberately killed either.

He was shot by mistake.

The soldier was disciplined for it.
The soldier was a Bedouin and such was a Muslim, so it is very unlikely he would have had any personal reason to kill what he thought was a Palestinian.

It was a tragedy, but Hurndall had decided to go to a conflict area.

In doing so, there are risks associated with it.

They're not going to get the chance to comment.

The bottom line with this thread is that the two main protagonists would both argue black is white if it suited them.

Thread locked, and don't piss me off by starting another to continue this.
