It's our local derby & has been for almost a century. Reason enough.
Facts are we've pissed on them since that glorious night in 1987 when Rocky burst through & got us to the Littelwoods final. That win was MASSIVE & a huge turning point. Its meant 20 years plus of pain for them bar the odd victory over us/mickey mousse cup win & 2 decades of seasons in transition often flirting with releagation & god knows how many different managers/squads & money wasted. A glorious failure basically.
Previous to that & post the Woolwich move, the period in between shows both clubs pretty equal in terms of fanbase/trophies etc..& there was equal hatred, both fanbases enjoyed periods when their mobs enjoyed the upper hand.
They (both old & young) now live in envy but any proper Gooners who know their history hate them Y*d *word censored* & always will.
