He took us on a tour of the ground last year, my Mrs entered a competition and one of the prizes was a tour of the ground hosted by Keown, Parlour and Winterburn and even then he was saying he regreted it but if i remeber correctly he was saying he had a big argument with george at the time and decided that he had enough of him and wanted to leave ( again if i remember correctly, he did mention something about wages)flash gunner wrote:Cant hear the sound due to being at work but i remember him saying before how much he regretted leaving. It was over a fiver or something and because of it he missed Anfield '89 and a few more medals

It was to do with wages. Can't remember the amount but as Mike said it was something ridiculous like a £5 a week.Mikegooner87i wrote:He took us on a tour of the ground last year, my Mrs entered a competition and one of the prizes was a tour of the ground hosted by Keown, Parlour and Winterburn and even then he was saying he regreted it but if i remeber correctly he was saying he had a big argument with george at the time and decided that he had enough of him and wanted to leave ( again if i remember correctly, he did mention something about wages)flash gunner wrote:Cant hear the sound due to being at work but i remember him saying before how much he regretted leaving.
