It's ultimately up to you Smoothy, but even though you haven't been too kind about the mods, and that we usually come from different sides of an argument/debate, I hope you stay.

Remember, it's only a forum and nothing more important than that. Like Basil said previously, maybe a few days away from here will help put things in perspective.

Smoothie, from what I can tell, you're not a bad bloke and for that reason, I would probably choose for you to stay rather than go.

However, these self-absorbed postings where you announce that you're leaving, then announce your return and then can't decide whether to leave or not really get up my nose, and I doubt I'm the only one who feels that way.

To repeat what many people have already said; this is an internet forum and that's all it is and therefore, is not to be taken too seriously. Popularity contests like these just stink of insecurity, and as one of the original posters on this site, I'd expect a little more from you.

My advice to you would be to ignore the result of this poll, as I imagine the majority of people who voted don't really care either way. No offence. Just make your own mind up, mate. To be brutally honest, it would be good if you stayed, but wouldn't be the end of the world either to most posters if you left - and it shouldn't be to you, either.

I find you an odd character (and this bizarre poll hardly makes me change my mind on that

) but it takes all sorts to make a forum, so I'd rather you stayed.

I'd rather you dropped the Scouse-style victim act, though... No one is out to get you; the cliques you speak of really aren't all that intimidating, and your sweeping statements about regulars having "no life" is quite pathetic...

Drop the attitude, and get a sense of humour, and you'll be amazed how people will warm to you... but, of course, then you run the risk of being liked and entering into one of those dreaded cliques you speak of!

Anyway, as I said, hope you stay... but ultimately, it's up to you
