Loc\l Slang

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Loc\l Slang

Post by corkbarry »

When i was a teenager in Cork we had our local language, for instance.

I met an oul doll who was me daza and we had a jag at de statue, but she gave me a fifty.

This would mean something to a Corkman, can anyone else translate. If so,put in your version of it in your local slang. :-P
