top 4? never in doubt.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Who"d have thought in january, that we"d be in this position in April.
I was on Arsenes back a bit over those bad months, but as Arsene has always said..."Judge my team at the end of the season"
I pray to God this season goes on untill late may :bowing21:

The fact we're improving in the last month or so shouldn't hide the fact we've gone backwards at an alarming rate this season particularly in the league. Villa will spend lots in the summer and another summer of inactivity by the manager will see us struggle again next season. That said we're in with a shout of winning 2 cups more than I thought possible a few months back.

No matter how this season turns out,Arsene, imo has performed a minor miracle with what has been available to him(injuries, young players). :barscarf: :barscarf:

I don't now if weve gone that backward, we have had a terrible injury list and I think manure, chelski and mousers are better this season, especially the mousers, just think we had such a poor start, and a lot of draws, last season we had better luck in front of goal and it deserted us in those 0-0 drwas we had. Turn those into 1-0 wins and we would be fighting for the title, ifs and buts i know but its true.
I don't think Villa will be the team to worry about next year, man c and everton probably more so.

Thing was we all knew we'd get injuries like this, we always do. And we all knew that the squad needed strengthening in the summer, which wasn't done.

Things are going well at the moment, but had the nessecary work been done last summer think of where we could have been now.

Spot on..... All teams get injuries but we have to have the squad to compete and our squad isnt good or big enough. Our 1st team all fit is a match for anyone. When you think are 10 points behind Utd so many points stupidly lost we could have been up there
