Anyone a fan of Denilson, Eboue or Song on here?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

TOM...IS THAT IS YOUR REAL NAME.

DENILSON

YOU CAN QUOTE PERCENTAGES ALL YOU WANT, BUT, THEY MEAN FUCK ALL.

HE COULD HAVE 100% TACKLE RATE, BUT IF WE LOSE EVERY GAME WHAT DOES IT COUNT FOR?

HE ISNT A DEFENSIVE MIDFEILDER.

HE ISNT A CENTRE MIDFEILDER.

HE ISNT A ATTACKING MIDFEILDER.

HE CANT PLAY ON THE LEFT.

HE CANT PLAY ON THE RIGHT.

HE MAY HAVE A GOOD TACKLE PERCENTAGE, BUT CLEARLY TO ANYONE WITH EYES THE TACKLES ARENT IN THE RITE AREA OF THE PITCH. OTHERWISE HE WOULD BOSS GAMES...NAME ONE HE'S DONE THAT IN.

WHAT IS HIS SHOOTING PERCENTAGE?

WHAT IS HIS PASSING PERCENTAGE?

WHAT IS HIS WIN PERCENTAGE?

HOW MANT TROPHIES HAS HE WON?

GET MY POINT, CERTAIN STATS MEAN FUCK ALL.

How many goals does he score? Why does he bounce of players? Why does he have no skill for a Brazilian? Was he the last player to be picked when playing beach football on the Copacabana? (yes is my hunch)

He can tackle with 100% because most of the time you don't see him playing. Where was he in the first half of Villarreal game?!!

I would have Denilson over ANY midfielder in the world, he aint here shouting about money and shit like that, every game he runs his socks off and TRIES 100%, fuck world class, all them wankers want is money, i would rather have a player who would play for the shirt than money.....

If that's the selecetion criteria AW might as well just throw eleven shirts into the crowd each Saturday.

Seriously?

Not even Essien?

barnfield88, I know you're just trying to show support to Denilson, but I don't believe for a second you actually stand by your last comment.

Grand gestures are all well and good, but if they're as hollow as a ping pong ball, then what's the point? - it just makes you look clueless.

I really like Denilson, but come on.... you wouldn't want ANY other midfielder alongside Cesc??? - nonesense.

Just read this all the way through.

2 facts. Tom does not share an IP address with any previous poster.

None of the 3 would have got within a mile of the 2004 team. And before anyone else says I know they were but not as first choice or even tird choice.

Just did the same thing, and you stole my mod glory right at the last. Damn you! What are you doing up at 3am anyway?!

As for this discussion, Song, Denilson and Eboue are squad players. Nothing more, nothing less. I'd argue that Denilson is the most useful of the bunch, but that really isn't saying much.
