The Ingerlund Experience

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Back in the old days there were even a few terraces that seemed really high, notably the Kop at Hillsbrough, the old South Bank at Wolves and Villa's Holte End, I always ventured towards the front half when I was on those terraces
The South Bank at Wolves seemed to be like a downhill ski-run!

I remember my first visit there, could'nt believe there was actually a terrace that high. I wonder how many people the thing held and now it's all seats I wonder if it's still as high. Hav'nt been to Wolves for donkeys years.

He is a total one, i'm glad i booed him & Bentley
can anyone actually tell me what David Bentley has done wrong, because from what i can see all he did was move to somewhere he could play regular first team football, a far more respectable move than warming a bench at chavski for megabucks.

as for the under 21's thing, he's right, even though he was under 21 he is a senior player for his club and was coming off the back of playing a full season, a player's first loyalty must be to their club and if an U21 competition will affect their fitness then they should refuse to play. Also wasn't wayne rooney eligible to play in that competition, no one would dream of calling him up to play as taggart would (rightly) bite their face off, i know that i would be mightily pissed off if cesc was called up for that competition.

Booing Bentley was ridiculous, he did nothing to deserve it.

Apart from leave his u21 team mates in the lurch at the european championships because he thought he was to good for them after being involved in the senior squad.
I think Bently is a good player and possibly the new David Beckham if he continues to try hard enough, but i feel he mad the wrong choise in refusing to play for the u21 not only that he pulled out when it was to late to call in a replacement.

Also Motty was saying that they have tried bells, 5 minute warnings and turning the tele's off and the fans especially club level still take ages to take thier seats again.
