Chelsea and 'the English game'

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

England has got a very talented keeper in carson so why not give him a try?
because even when on form for U21's, he was suspect to crosses and long shots? While I agree on the Lampard/Rooney and need to drop off form players, Owen is the only real scorer in the team so I can see why Maclaren keeps him

i wasnt saying mcclaren should drop owen, rather i feel he would be better placing his faith in a player who was not lacking match fitness or practice i.e. at the world cup. This season he has more games under his belt, so naturally u would play him - evidence this afternoon of course

Did you send your job application off to the Guardian Sports desk yet?

Yeah sorry. I kind of thought that something over two paragraphs would prove a bit difficult for some of you. Apologies.

Only joshing Saunders me old mucka, just trying to wind you up a bit.
No-one has picked on you for a while, so I thought it was about due !

Why don't you start your own BLOG or something, as you obviously have some talent at this writing malarky. :?:
As was I, Hag

As regards the blog thing; I considered it, but it's drown in the sea of 4,423,105 other Arsenal blogs out there. Therefore, I can continue to bore you lot.

You lucky things!
