Taylor Anybody?

Post by All_Arsenal_1886 »

No not Matty Taylor, Steven Taylor

I was reading in the NOTW that Steven Taylor will reject a new contract at Newcastle, also reported that Arsenal and Chelsea are monioring the situation.

I know this could all be 'paper talk' but if it was to be true i would like to see Arsene go for Seven, he was great for England u21's and i think deserves a place in the senior squad. I thinkk he has the pedigree to be a great center back for club and country.

I know some of you are going to say we might not need another CB but if we let Senderos of Gallas go i think Steven would be a great replacement.

Haven't really watched this guy with a critical eye .. but he seems to be fairly well rated, and has captained the under-21 team ...

So, that would definitely be a good acquisition, but I reckon he will come over-priced like other english players .. thats always the problem ...

But if the price were right, that would only be a good thing .. arsenal can do with a couple of good english players .. may help deflect away some of the bad press and bad refereeing we suffer ...

I don't rate him at all. Big and clumsy and slow. He's spent most of his career as understudy to Titus Bramble.

He's got in the England squad and seems to think he's Billy Big Bollocks all of a sudden.

A good player, brave certainly and will be interesting to see how he plays for Newcastle this season, he certainly has a lot of potential. Might be worth going for him if price is right

First of all I don't trust the NOtW at all.
However if its right i only see taylor as a fringe player at Arsenal. He's not exactly setting the world alight.
If we were to get him (he'd probably go to the Chavs) then it would hardly be a signing of kolo toure quality but not pascal cygan either.
