looking forward to the derby?
i cant wait for sat. i really believe were gonna do them 3-1. it will be the usual start by them run around at 200 miles per hour and our football class will rip them apart in the 2nd half. hleb van persie and adebayor. get behind the boys like we always do. 3 out of the last 4 years they have mugged a draw out of the hands of defeat. in the last minute of injury time not this time. I CANT FXXXXXX WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

No!!
I bloody hate the 2 times we have to play the spuds and am a nervous wreck (only about the result
) for weeks in advance.
I have plenty of Spurs supporting mates and, to be fair, they are normally quite good about things regardless of the result - as am I with them. We can normally speak sensibley about football without all the hatred that normally goes with this derby fixture.
However, they haven't beaten us for ages and I sudder to think of the reaction when they eventually do win!! Plus the thought of the neanderthals that follow their club being happy just doesn't sit well with me - at any time!!
Therefore, I have had a secret yearning for them to be relegated forever so we never have to play them again, except for the occasional cup match when we can tease them about their demise.

I am usually quite laid-back for matches against the scum ... usually have a relaxed confidence that we will beat them or draaw with them at thier home ... even when we have been 2 down, I never lose this relaxed confidence, which is not really backed up by practical facts .. somehow, I just know we will win or draw, but never lose ..
..
the nerves come during the game, and I never relax even if we are winning, until the final whistle ...
I know one of these days, I will be disappointed .. but until it actually does happen ....

I'm allways confident on derby day because Arsenal seem to up their game, only trouble is Spuds have had a bad start to this season they have only won 1 out of 5 games (that was against Derby)
, so this is the perfect game for them to turn their season around
.
I would be happy with a 'fair' draw not a draw if we are all over them.
If we win i will be over the moon

yeah, strange but very true ... I think I get off on the high of our equalising after being down .. and panic at the thought that we might draw/lose after being up .. defies logic really .. I am probably not normal ..tonysaunders wrote:gunners-need-steel wrote:even when we have been 2 down, I never lose this relaxed confidenceSo you relax when we're two down but don't relax when we're winning?!gunners-need-steel wrote:the nerves come during the game, and I never relax even if we are winning, until the final whistle
