I hope i haven't bad mouthed Henry, he has been one of the best things that has happend at the club what i was trying to say was with Henry gone i think the team will grow better and stronger purelly because Henry was such a good player and big name at the club i think the youngster may of felt pressure under him.
now their isn't a big/senior player (Gilberto yes but he doesn't hog the limelight) looking over the youngsters they might just imporve how Arsene wants them to.
I wonder what he's thinking now?

Bad news? I know the date is Tuesday 11 September but can we cut out the 'with us or with the terrorists' style of logic. I didn't say he's bad news, but the pros of holding on to him have been outweighed by the cons.Having rambled thru all that, I have no doubt in my mind that the guy still has arsenal close to his heart, and as he said, will remain a fan for ever ... so, I will never bad-mouth him, and implore all other gooners to stop sounding like he was bad news ...
And you may call it bad mouthing, I call it healthy criticism, nobody in this world is above criticism, least of all one so quick to dish it out as Henry was at Arsenal.

No Cus, I was not referring to you directly .. was just talking generally ..Cus Geezer wrote:Bad news? I think that many of us (me included) fail to give Henry credit for his loyalty .. he stayed around for 2 seasons longer than he really wanted to purely out of loyalty ... especially, when eager to rightly say that perhaps it was right for him to leave ...

Note to Tony Saunders - this is talking sense
[/quote]tonysaunders wrote:Thanks for the note, but I am fully aware that Gunners-Need-Steel is, as per usual, talking sense. However, this does not mean that the aforementioned 'three posters' were not. In fact, GNS and the other three that I mentioned were talking about separate things.
So thanks for the very well written post, GNS. You're fast becoming one of the posters I look forward to hearing from on here.
Gus/TS, thx for making sense out of my ramble earlier ..
