Atmosphere last night

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

No, it was a few minutes later when RVP scored the pen and it was game over

Pires chant was brilliant!
Because half the crowd went home! :(
True! Tell you what, let's all f*ck off and not even applaud a team that's just reached the last 4! We did our best to embarrass them but as usual they didn't give a stuff.

It would take some serious iniatives to get the atmosphere like that for the more run of the mill league matches.

By the sounds of it it was a pretty good atmosphere last night, but on TV it sounded pretty mediocre to be honest. To people in the ground it may be loud, but on TV, if there is about 3000 singing it doesn't really sound that loud due to microphone positions and settings etc.

That's why we need to get EVERYBODY singing.

I sat behind the goal next to the away fans with him not sure where he normally sits I cant remember exactly what he shouted but it was very loud and along the lines of calling them *word censored* and a disgrace etc  The early leavers just looked at the floor and quickly carried on walking :awnker:

in the blue corner the old 'your going home, your going home' changed a bit as 'you're late for dinner' was substituted with 'you fucking disgrace'...
