Manc Aid - An Appeal (11/9)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Manc Aid - An Appeal (11/9)

usual thread starter… Well if it all goes pear-shaped, there’s always FC United. All joking aside, this does demonstrate how powerless fans can be unless they are prepared to vote with their wallets. And such a move can destroy the club they have followed all their lives in the process. I don’t know if this will be picked up by the Man Utd newsnow page, but if it is… well long term regulars are now battle hardened, so arms at the ready.

phew! just checked newsnow man utd page and i don't think we've been picked up.

will at least make the forum speed remain constant. when it gets bombarded by visitors, the pages are much slower to load.

it was torture the last time we had a manc invasion :(

Aaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww!! :(

I had snipers in position, air cover on station and had requested the fire support missions in advance.

I also had rebel gooner, I HATE HLEB, Gus Ceaser is a Legend, AA1886 and Tony Saunders on advanced recon behind the manc beach head, all prepped to launch suicide threads.

I am sorely disapointed that we will not now be invaded. :P

A Jihad on the London mancs! A Fatwa upon the Home Counties mancs!

As I remember, that terrible day,

You were the one who instigated that unholy debacle that is modern warfare, upon us, mere cannon-fodder. Then you retreated back to the bunker that is Dublin.

Typical General...

Shame upon you, sir! Shame.

I fought valiently in the trenches with my men. We gave our all and when the darkest hours of combat approached we stood firm (oo-er, missus  ) and gave not a yard to the London manc hordes!!

I have my scars from that day of infamy and I have my war stories....

No man has ever lived to question this General's valour. You sir, I will meet at dawn. Choice of weapons is yours...... Forum thread or text message!!

Sorry General-Sir.

Didn't mean to rise above my station.

It 's the shellshock you see, the sound of the constant explosions and images of bloodied comrades all around me make me act in an altogetherly un-gentlmanly manner.

Apologies Sir.

Apology accepted good sir. I fully understand the Post Traumatic Stress you are suffering; your own heroics during the attempted manc invasion will go down in the annals of our great forum!!

Semper Fi!

Hoo-Yah!!
